If you are picking up your students after the parade, please make sure that you give me (Mike) a note beforehand saying you will do so.  You may meet us at the Armada Hotel at the corner of Forget-Me-Not Road and Ocean Avenue.  Your students will call you when they are ready, but it would probably be around 3:00 pm.

If you are dropping your students off to us at the parade route after SATs, please make sure that you have all of their uniform accessories and equipment.  Drop them off at 25th and Atlantic in full uniform ready to go.  If you think you'll arrive after 1:00 pm, please contact Mike ahead of time to obtain his cell number so you can contact him when you arrive.

If your child is going to miss band practice for ANY reason, Mr. Armstrong needs to know 2 weeks in advance.  Please read the handbook and return the paper in the back with the expected dates of absence.  If your child is sick, please email Mr. Armstrong as soon as you know that your child will not be attending practice.

Deptford High School "Fight Song" was borrowed from
San Jose State University?

It is said that the Head of the DTHS Guidance Department in 1959, Mr. Roy Wager suggested that our mascot be the Spartans.  Mr. Wager also suggested that the fight song be "The Spartan Fight Song" from his alma mater San Jose State University.

Here is a clip of San Jose State
's Fight Song
